|
|
Hey y'all, it's time for another contest! This is for everyone so listen up.
Think about your ultimate airboat build. If money, time and skill were not issues, what rc airboat would you build?
Put together a drawing (artist rendering, not blue prints) of your dream boat and email it to jasperrc@sbcglobal.net. Please do not put anything in the drawing to identify who you are. Only emailed entries are eligible to win. Designs posted on this thread or elsewhere in the forum are not eligible. You have three weeks from the date of this post to submit your design.
In three weeks, after all of the entries have been received, they will be posted here along with a poll for judging the entries.
The poll will run for two weeks. During that time, members will be able to vote on thier favorite design.
At the end of that time, the winner will be announced and the bragging can begin.
Entries should not be judged on artistic ability but on the boat design itself.
- Feasibility - A 3 ft tall boat that is 2 feet long and 6 inches wide ain't gonna work.
- Overall looks of the boat - Is it good looking?
- Originality - Copies of Bumblebee won't do
- "Wow" factor - Self explanatory
- "Cool" factor - Do you want one?
The next question you should have is "what do I get if I win?" Not only will you receive the accolades and admiration of everyone on the site, there is a prize for the winner which shall be revealed when the winner is announced but which is very very very awesome!
The winner is responsible for shipping fees.
Ready, set, GO! _________________ Russell |

Hey y'all, just a reminder, please don't put anything in your drawing that would/could identify who you are.
After the judging is done, I'll post the full list so everyone will know who submitted which design. _________________ Russell |

Hey y'all, just a reminder that entries are due in two weeks, plenty of time to stir the old creative brain cells.

It doesn't have to be the traditional 3 view drwaing but we want to see what the concept boat would look like all the way around. The entries I have so far have included more than one angle but not necessarily a three view. _________________ Russell |

Very similar but not really close to that at all.
Hmm, another hint maybe? - watch for sharp edges
Entries are due in three days...
