That stinks.... I don't want to sound like a sore looser, but where is Crispy's record found on any of the Gasser or Nitro record pages? It's not? However, it is found in the RCAA Current Overall Fastest Documented Speeds as the fastest Ice/Snow record.... Says nothing about 'Flatbottom' which was the question....
Also, Chris is eligible to win his own contest?
Maybe the answers should have been sent via PM to prevent the copy & pasting that occurred here.
That was a fun contest, thanks Chris! _________________ Ground Pounders RC |

Well I saw the questions posted but I was just about to go out to my own rc boat clubs clean up day and get ready for the monthly meet. I had to toss a coin ? . (Chris had just posted the questions)
Do I stay and answer the questions?
Or do I go to my clubs open day?.
I had about 80% of the questions answered in my head But !!!!
Good quizz Chris !! Thanks for the chance to win another SI boat. _________________ IF YOU AIN'T FLIPPING YOU AIN'T PUSHING HARD!!! |

This will answer your Question on Crispy's record. Info found on the RCAA speed record page.
Class G3 35cc - 42cc

* Stock Motor -
* Hot Motor -
Dry Ground
* Stock Motor - 41 mph - Kurt Ruegg - Kurt's Record Run set with Kurt's custom creation.
* Hot Motor -
Ice/Snow
* Stock Motor - 44 mph - Kurt Ruegg - Kurt's Record Run set with Kurt's custom creation.
* Hot Motor -
And Yes, Chris could win his own contest but He is nice enough to offer such a great prise to ALL who posted and took time to complete the HUNT.
Also about the copy and post...... He (Chris) warned everyone... so correct answers were a must.
I woluld like to say I had a great time on the contest. I was able to answer most of the questions quickly but the last picture was a challenge. I spent almost 3 hours finding a (baby) with bubba teeth. Thanks Chris for the contest. I'm out of town working with nothing too do. _________________

Andy's answer to question number 11 is incorrect, it should read Hamerhead2 not Hammerhead 2

Jasper,
I am just pointing out a minor technicality that also caused you not to win. Honestly, I feel for you not winning because you omitted 3 letters from a members name, Andy added one too many. I clearly got one wrong. As bad as I wanted that boat, I do not think I should win. You had the answers posted first, you deserve it IMO. _________________ Ground Pounders RC |

Thanks, Gator. I wasn't nit-picking or anythiung, just wanted to clarify where my answer came from as well. I really enjoyed the hunt and being the first to reply with the answers was risky but worth it. _________________ Russell |

It was a good contest, I also had all the answers in my head...only because I have been around a REALLY long time....but I hesitated because I had other (equally important) things to do.
The hardest question for me was ScottW's cream colored boat.....It took me about 1/2 hour to find that one.....LOL
Thanks, Chris, for the chance to win an SI. _________________ The gene pool could use a little chlorine. |

The hardest for me was Hammerhead 2. I recognized those vents under the prop but couldn't remember the name of the boat I found the pics.
Honestly fellas, I have an SI and had already made up my mind if I won it it to pass this one on to someone who doesn't have one. _________________ Russell |
