Here at RC Airboat World we maintain a clean, family-like type of environment. Remember, the views expressed are those of the author. We all are here to gain and share knowledge pertaining to rc airboats, any "constructive criticism" should not be taken to heart. By registering with Prop Wash you agree to abide by the guidelines listed below when visiting this site and forum. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. A warning will be given to anyone who disrespects our environment. If the problem persists... you will kindly be shown the door.

Forum rules

1. Posts are to be made in the relevant forum. Users are asked to read the forum descriptions before posting. Users consistently posting to the wrong forum may be given a warning.

2. Members should post in a way that is respectful of other users. Flaming or abusing users in any way will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning. Treat other members equally and as family.

3. Members should remember this board is not aimed at a general audience, but to all age groups. Posting pornographic or generally offensive text, images, links, drug/alcohol related content, or profanity, etc. will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning. And if the problem persists....you'll kindly be shown the door.

4. Members are asked to respect the copyright of other users, sites, media, etc.

5. Members should post in a way which is consistent with "normal writing". That is users should not post excessive numbers of emoticon, huge text, etc. Users should not WRITE WITH THE CAPS LOCK ON or use excessive punctuation (e.g. ! and ?) in topic titles or posts. Occasional SHOUT OUTS are fine, just don't write entirely with the CAPS LOCK on. Pics should be no larger than 640x480, anything larger stretches the page making it difficult to read. Users consistently abusing this will be warned. Pics larger than 640x480 or improper posting may be removed by the administration at their discretion.

6. Members should use an appropriate, descriptive title when posting a new topic. Examples of bad titles include; "Help me!", "I'm stuck!", "I've got a problem!", "What should I do?", etc. Examples of good titles include; "What size boat for a OS46LA?", "Having power failure to the servos", "What type of paint should I use on epoxy", "Need opinions on my hull design", etc. RC Airboat World reserves the right to rename a post if felt appropriate.This makes finding information alot easier.

7. Members are welcome to use the test forum for general "test purposes". These may include checking signatures, testing a link or image, etc. Test post may be deleted after a lenghth of time. Testing in any other section will be deleted.

8. Absolutely no commercial advertising without the consent of RC Airboat World. Members may list up to 2 ads at a single time in the "Swap-N-Shop" section, which are not for profitable intentions, but rather to assist another fellow member. Any misuse of "Swap-N-Shop" can and will lead to that privilege being revoked. See "Swap-N-Shop rules listed below.

9. RC Airboat World reserves the right to move, edit or remove any post at any time. The determination of what is construed as indecent, vulgar, advertising without consent of RC Airboat World, spam, etc; as noted, is up to the descretion of RC Airboat World.

10. The above forum rules, where applicable, also apply to private messaging. signatures, and avatars. Abuse of the private messaging system, signature, and avatar may lead to a warning and/or the revokation of the private messaging, signature, and avatar privileges.

11. RC Airboat World reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who wishes not to abide by the set forth guidelines. Violating these guidelines will result in a warning. If the problem persists...your IP address will be banned permanetly.

12. RC Airboat World reserves the right to amend these rules if need be.

13. By registering an account in the forum, you are acknowledging you have read and understand the rules and regulations and accept them. And understand that these guidelines will be enforced. All members are to abide by these guidelines.

Signatures

1. Links in signatures are permitted to a maximum of two unique pages or sites.

2. No advertising allowed as a signature.

3. Users abusing these rules will be warned first, then your signature will be revoked.


Avatars

1. Users are permitted to utilize a gallery avatar or to link to one of their own (subject to previous points on misuse of bandwidth). Avatars may not exceed 6kB (6000 Bytes) in file size.

2. Avatars are subject to the same conditions as posts with respect to decency, respect, and so forth.

3. Users abusing these rules will be warned and/or may lose their avatar privileges.


Swap-N-Shop Rules

1. RC related items only.

2. RC Airboat World accepts no responsiblity for transactions taken place.
Use your better judgment when dealing with other members.

3. You MUST post a price for ALL ads. No e-bay like auctions. This includes links to auctions on other sites too. Be as specific and detailed about the item as possible.

4. You cannot sell something you do not have in your
immediate possession.

5. Post any questions you may have in the forum. But, do all dealings through private messaging.

6. No multi-level marketing schemes.

7. No dealers or vendors of any kind without permission.

10. Swap-N-Shop is not intended for profitable reasons. It should be used to help others out with items you no longer need or have a use for.
