|
|
Ok everyone, time for the fun part, VOTING!
Take a look at all of the entries and then vote on your favorite design.
Entries should not be judged on artistic ability but on the boat design itself.
- Feasibility - A 3 ft tall boat that is 2 feet long and 6 inches wide ain't gonna work.
- Overall looks of the boat - Is it good looking?
- Originality - Copies of Bumblebee won't do
- "Wow" factor - Self explanatory
- "Cool" factor - Do you want one?
This poll will run for two weeks. At that time the winner will be announced and the prize revealed.
Good luck and y'all have fun!
Here are the entries in no particular order.
Entry #1 Decked Canard
Entry #2 Stepped Tunnel
Entry #3 V-bow Flat Bottom
Entry #4 Stepped Canard
Entry #5 Turbine Powered Mono

Ha! Thought you could trick me in to revealing what the prize is by asking an innocent little question like "what's the prize?". Well I'm on to you and I won't reveal that this totally awesome prize is a ____________ until the voting is done. _________________ Russell |

Hey y'all, just a friendly reminder to our contestants, don't put anything in a post that would give away that you have an entry or which design is yours. We want the voting to be based solely on design. _________________ Russell |

Oh you had to pull out the puppy dog eyes
It almost worked but unfortunately for you my puppy just dug a huge hole in the grass in my back yard so no luck
Maybe another hint...

I know what the first prize is!
It’s an all expenses paid trip to the next RCAA Get together.
I can only wish. _________________ IF YOU AIN'T FLIPPING YOU AIN'T PUSHING HARD!!! |

That would be expensive almost the same for you to get there as me
It’s almost the same cost for me to go across Canada as it is to go to Australia _________________ I don’t do normal |

Now that's an idea, an all expense paid trip to the next get together with winner paying shipping. LOL
It's not a free trip to the next get together but you could bring it along to the next get togther so everyone gould get a good look. _________________ Russell |

I'm really having fun with this and I hope y'all are too
I want to give another hint about the prize but first let's review what you know so far.
1) It's very very very awesome!
2) It weighs more than a feather but is lighter than a ton o bricks.
3) | crispyspa wrote: | | Gold tipped fluglebinders. Am I right? |
Very similar but not really close to that at all.
4) Watch for sharp edges
5) | Francisco wrote: | Man, not an APC prop... I already have too many cut fingers |
Those are cool but this is much cooler
6) | crispyspa wrote: | ...Not flugelbinders and not a prop....what can the prize be?
A package of balloons to wrap our RX's in? |
Even with a tank of helium to help you sound like a chipmunk, this is much cooler!
7) It's not a free trip to the next get together but you could bring it along to the next get togther so everyone gould get a good look.
And a new hint...
You can see this particular model in many of the RCAA record setting videos.
Hmm, now what could it be?!! _________________ Russell |

Time for another hint.
In the record videos in which it can be found there is usually a good shot of it at the beginning and end of the video. _________________ Russell |

No, but it can been seen in close proximity to the GPS.
It's not pond water, too hard to ship.
And it's not Andy. His family won't give him up. And besides, he eats too much. _________________ Russell

If it’s a tie does admin cast the final vote? Or do we run another poll for the two designs. _________________ IF YOU AIN'T FLIPPING YOU AIN'T PUSHING HARD!!! |
